DB Transfers Webinar 2: Dos and don'ts of seeking Defined Benefit transfer advice

This webinar has now finished. You can access the recording using the form below.

In our previous webinar, we focused on how to help your members make the right decisions when considering whether to explore a Defined Benefit (DB) transfer. We explored and highlighted the importance of a member-driven advisory service that is controllable, cost-effective, provides high-quality advice (if you missed it, you can access the recording here).

For the second webinar in our series, we take a look at the dos and don’ts of seeking DB transfer advice for your members.

This presentation looks at some of the underlying member considerations but also looks beyond, as we consider the dos and don’ts that the employer or trustee, should take into account when appointing an IFA to assist their members.

We’ll discuss some of the high-profile examples where things have gone wrong, and drill down on some key issues that need to be ticked off prior to appointing an IFA.

All webinar registrants will also receive a copy of our case study: How a robust advice process represented money well spent for the Sponsor and Trustees.
