Pensions administrator

We are seeking a Pensions administrator to support our pension scheme administration service. 
You will be stepping into a role which will require you to look after some of Premier’s best loved and longest established clients.  You will personally be looking after a portfolio of administration clients that range in size.  It’s a mixed portfolio including some DC and DB schemes.  At Premier our administrators look after everything so you must have experience with working on both scheme and member events.  You will be expected to manage all day-to-day activities across these 5 clients as well as delivering annual events such as pension increases and management reports.

Project Administrator

General description of the role:
We are seeking a project administrator to support our pension scheme administration service.
This role is specifically intended to support the operational teams in delivering scheme projects alongside
business as usual operations. You will be supporting the operational teams in the delivery of technical
administration projects but will not have any direct client operational/portfolio responsibilities.

This role is
designed to help us quickly adapt and deliver administration projects without the need to divert resources from
existing day-to-day operations.

With the support of administrators and team leaders you will be required to simultaneously deliver a number of
different technical projects for clients. Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands are
therefore essential. Whilst some knowledge of project management tools is advantageous it is not essential for

Help desk support analyst

The role holder reports on an ongoing daily basis to the CIT Manager, maintaining transparent and clear communications on all aspects of IT support.

To provide swift and efficient first line IT support toPremier staff based out of our Croydon and Bristol offices.

You will provide IT support to users both remotely and face to face. In addition to this you will be expected to provide support on business improvement projects.

This position is based in our Croydon office but the successful candidate will need to travel to our Bristol office occasionally.

Proactive in approach to support and seeking continual improvement of the service offered. The role can be technical and individuals are expected to keep pace with the changes in technology to
maintain a high quality service.

This is a hands-on role in a small team so the ability to prioritise and work without direction is essential.

You will need to have at least 2 years experience in a similar role, ideally within the financial services sector.

General description of the role:

The Consultant will work within the Employer Services Team and will be:

•    Responsible for the provision of strategic advice to corporate clients
•    Responsible for delivering sound advice and present solutions to corporate clients for
Corporate Pension and benefit business.
•    Responsible for formulating employee benefit solutions addressing the issues facing corporate
•    Working with Senior Consultants supporting the delivery of services to more complex, or larger
•    The job holder will be internally and externally recognised as a market expert in either
Corporate pensions, employee benefits, group risk or employee counselling services, whilst having a
working knowledge in all disciplines

Main accountabilities:

•    Income generation from the sale of bespoke Pension and Benefit solutions to corporate clients
to achieve agreed targets
•    Activity that identifies corporate pension, employee benefits, group risk and employee
counselling opportunities within existing and new corporate customers
•    Develop innovative benefits solutions for corporate clients
•    Identify and refer other business opportunities to Premier Pensions Management and Premier
•    Responsible for driving and generating sufficient activity and client contact to achieve
targets and income generation

Client Relationship Consultant

General description of the role:

A client relationship role designed to support and service individual clients of PWP.

The role will have primary focus on servicing clients who require on-going management to ensure their financial
plans remain on course and appropriate to meet the client objectives.

The role is to act as a client manager, managing the affairs of a number of clients who themselves cannot
continue to be adequately managed by the original PWP consultant.

The role will also require the Consultant to be a contact point for individual clients (and prospective clients)
when Premier are appointed to large scale projects or when appointed by Corporate or Trustee Clients, to
advise their employees / members.

This role is ideally suited to a Consultant who has the relevant qualifications to meet FCA advisory requirements
and who is either looking to be primarily (but not always), an office based consultant and/or who is looking to
progress into a full advisory role in later years.

General description of the role:

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to work alongside Senior Consultants to provide full Paraplanning support in our Croydon Office. 
Our chosen candidate should have the following:

• The requisite generic knowledge and qualification (e.g. FPC or CF1-6) and working towards the Diploma in Financial Planning if not already attained.

• An understanding of the advice process, including the use of fact finding, attitude to risk, analytical tools and report preparation.

• Analytical tools include the use of Selectapension or similar (for pension switch and transfer cases); FE analytics or similar and an understanding of asset allocation; Cashflow modelling (and an understanding of how they can be used); Avelo Exchange (or similar); Trustnet (or similar); Wrap and Investment platform systems (or similar): Back office systems, Intelliflo or similar

• A good knowledge and understanding of the investment, pension and protection products and taxation (income tax, inheritance tax and capital gains tax). 

• Market awareness (investment and industry related matters)

• Detailed knowledge and understanding of the firm’s procedure in respect of pension transfer and opt out business, including the necessary record keeping requirements.

• A desire to progress either to full advisory level or to establish themselves with a reputation as a high quality Paraplanner.
